Our Purpose Is to Nourish Lives by Sharing Traditions, Authentic Food and Love.

Our story is a crazy one, and we think it’s pretty awesome. It really started with a dream and a journey to the unknown when Joe, our founder, embarked on a mission to open the very first true Neapolitan pizzeria in Seattle.

AND…here’s the short version. Joe quit his job. Flew to Naples (no return ticket). Didn’t know anyone. Had no idea how to make a pizza. Got a job as a busboy in a local pizzeria where no one spoke English. Worked from sunrise to sunset six days a week. Fell in love with the wood-fired craft. Mastered the craft. Returned to Seattle. Sourced everything needed to replicate his Naples experience. Opened the doors to Tutta Bella in 2004. Made every pizza himself. Had his friends volunteer as servers and hosts. The restaurant was an instant success and, after five months, was awarded the very first VPN certification in the Pacific Northwest.

Joe’s mission continues – to make incredible food, create opportunities for our people, share lifelong memories with our guests and contribute to sustained, positive changes in our community.

Our Values

Love | Innovation | Growth | Community | Passion

Our Commitment to Food

Tutta Bella is about a fun and social experience for our guests, but we’re pretty serious about our food and drink, and at the root of our culinary vision is a commitment to real food, made by real people. It’s simple, nutritious, craveable, and always made with our secret ingredient… LOVE.

Balancing the authentic old-world cuisine found in Naples, with the fresh and contemporary influence of the Pacific Northwest, chef Brian and his team use their passion and our wood-fired ovens to celebrate and elevate true handcrafted Neapolitan fare.

Community

We are so grateful for being a part of the amazing area we call home and never take it for granted, but instead look for ways to support local communities, causes and organizations around our city.

Whether it’s a non-profit, school, local farmer or artisan, we encourage you to reach out to us to see how we can partner together to move our missions forward.
